Eugene Seleznev

Honored Artist of the Republic of Buryat
Upon graduation from the music school in 1995, he entered the ESSACA at the Department of Variety Instruments for the class "Percussion Instruments" of the teacher Zaitsev G.V. During his studies he mastered the skills of playing a pop-jazz orchestra and an orchestra of Russian folk instruments.   

In 2000 he graduated from the ESSACA and within a year served in the army, in the orchestra of the headquarters of the Siberian Military District, where he continued his creative search and professional development. Upon termination of service in 2001 he was recruited to the orchestra of the Buryat State National Theater of Song and Dance "Baikal".
In 2002 - 2004, he became a member of the Russian Song Ensemble at the Baikal Theater, which acted in the preparation and holding of the premiere ballet "Carmen-Suite", music by R. Shchedrin.  

In 2017 he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Buryatia".

Working in the theater "Baikal" Seleznev E.N. participates in all concert performances and cultural events of the theater. Being an actor of the Baikal Theater, Seleznev E.N. is a propagandist of the Buryat folk art and a valuable shot, as his creativity contributes to the penetration and interaction of the musical cultures of East and West. His vision of music and the original interpretation of parties, the creation of bright images on the stage is one of the impulses for the development of the musical creativity of the theater.
