Battuvshin Baldantseren

National Artist of the Republic of Buryatia
He was born in the Bulagansky aimak of Mongolia.

Music entered the life of Battuvshin from birth, at the age of 7 he began to play on the limb. Baldantseren Battuvshin is rightfully called "man-orchestra". In addition to limbe, he masterfully plays the game on morin-hur, bishkhure, suh-hur, khomus, is a well-known performer of throat singing.

B.Battuvshin created works: "12 zhelay magtaal" (2000) - praise of twelve animals on the Buddhist calendar, "Mongolian khomain durben torol" (2002) - throat singing, which shows four styles: homi, hargir, Iskira-hargira, Iskira, Morina Solo for the Russian-French film Serco (2004), Whatever happens (2005) - improvisation on the themes of Buryat and American folk songs, Blue Mongol (2005) - works in the style of blues, Buriat Boogie (2005) - yohore in the style of jazz, Camel (2005) - improvisation in jazz style, Horse number one (2005) - produced jazz style. All these works are played on Buryat folk instruments: eochin, chance, morin-hur, yatag, bass-hur, include throat singing.

In 2008, Battuvshin took part in the opening and closing ceremonies of the International Olympic Games in Beijing. This testifies to the huge recognition of his merits and professionalism. In the same year he acted as a composer in the film "The Smile of the Buddha" (director Bair Dyshenov). This film won the 59th International Berlin Film Festival the first place for the best musical design. For successful work on the film "The Smile of the Buddha" and the contribution to the promotion of the international image of the Republic of Buryatia, Battuvshin received gratitude from the President of the Republic of Buryatia V.V. Nagovitsyn (2009). In 2011, he was awarded the title People's Artist of the Republic of Buryatia, in 2013 he was recognized as the "Leader of Culture - 2012".
